He started playing bagpipes at age of 10. He also participated to alot of competitions. He frequently appears as a traditional solo performer at  weddings, gala events, head tables, funerals and  other ceremonial events. Rob is himself a leader in the instructional arena and is the co-founder of one of the top bagpipes summer schools in North America.
