 "Djupt inni skoga", the new NORRSINNT album is out on digital platforms. "Djupt inni skoga" means "Deep in the woods", and it brought delivery pains in the form of one of the worst winter storms I can remember in this area. The snowfilled northern winds knocked down many trees, many power lines were cut, and many people were left without electricity for long times. It also happened here, at the place of its creation, but the gifts of the woods, firewood, kept us warm in the dark. And today, all the modern wonders of electricity are back which allows me to let you know it is out in its final digital form. Up ahead there will be a physical CD brought to you by Earth And Sky Productions. This album is mainly a wrap-up of tracks that have been out on Bandcamp for a long time, given a new mix/master and a proper package with layout by the almighty Thomas Väänänen. With the help of the UTMARKEN frontman on Nyckelharpa, ASH OF ASHES released their Acoustic version of the Norwegian traditional folk tune titled "Springar" that is also featured on the album "Down the white waters" One short story about : "when Skaldir prepared the backing tracks for the gig at Ragnarök 2019, this song suddenly started playing without the drums and electric guitars and it sounded amazing! With a little more work on the arrangement it just sounds too good to keep from you. Thanks again Mathias Gyllengahm for playing the Nyckelharpa on this one. "Skogsmakt" is the new single and video from NORRSINNT featuring members of FEJD, BYRDI, MYRKGRAV and UTMARKEN, as previously announced . Skogsmakt is a 9 minutes track celebrating the power of nature. "This track takes you through the vast scandinavian forest, displaying its might and power as well as its beauty and stillness, by combining elements of traditional folk music, metal and black metal elements. It should be seen more as a miniature folk metal symphony than an ordinary song". The track is available on Spotify .
