SCYTHIA are currently working on their fourth album. The working title is "Barbarian". The recordings will take place at Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki, Finland and LSD Studios in Lubeck, Germany by September.

The European SCYTHIA tour initially planned for 2014 is obviously cancelled. The band told me it was a bit delayed due to personal reasons but I had to wait one fine moment to say it here. Now I noticed their next tour in America. So yes, this is "delayed" to another time and so, in one word: cancelled! As you know, I publish on my work done here even cancelled, I'd be pleased to work with SCYTHIA again for another tour later. I had contacted the following interested bands for this tour: ADORNED BROOD, ARTAIUS, BRAN BARR, CRAVING, FROSTTIDE, HEIDRA, KULTASIIPI, STRYDEGOR, THE PRIVATEER, THY WICKED, and YRZEN.

The Canadian act  SCYTHIA  will tour Europe later in this year, and will promote their new album  "Of Conquest" freshly released, available on their  Bandcamp page . On March 5th of 2014, SCYTHIA contacted ELD and requested help to look for bands to share the stage with them for their upcoming European tour 2014. Since that day, SCYTHIA and myself are working hard together to make this tour possible and unforgettable.

SCYTHIA now released their third album entitled " ...Of Conquest", after 1,5 year of hard work. The new full-length by the Canadians is made of 12 tracks and is produced by Nino Laurenne (Ensiferum, Wintersun, Kiuas, Firewind). Guest Appearances by Teemu Mantysaari (Wintersun), Tommy Kirby (Ides of Winter), 'Evil' Glen (Ides of Winter) are on "...Of Conquest".

Early 2014, the Canadian band SCYTHIA will release a new album entitled "…Of Conquest". That last is engineered/produced by Lasse Lammert (Alestorm, Gloryhammer, Halcyon Way, Svarsot) at LSD Studios in Lubeck, Germany, with co-production by Shaun Thingvold (Strapping Young Lad, Lamb of God, Fear Factory). The album is mixed by Nino Laurenne (Ensiferum, Wintersun, Kiuas, Firewind) at Sonic Pump Studios on Helsinki, Finland. Mastering credits go to Svante Forsback (Rammstein, Firewind, Korpiklaani, Apocalyptica) at Chartmakers in Helsinki, Finland. You may find in "…Of Conquest" some mixing of  progressive, melo death & power metal  added of some folk elements.

NEWS: The Pirate metal band SANDOO covered the known song "Face à la mer" (let's translate it by "in front of the sea") initially made by the duo Calogero / Passi... The SANDOO version is called "Face à la Bière" (front of the beer).
