The new SELVANS album Saturnalia sees for the first time an orchestra and a choir consisting in 60 elements, each of whom playing side by side with Selvans and his band while lyrics are in Italian. While  SELVANS  are full time working on the second full-length, Avantgarde Music is going to celebrate the closing of the first chapter of the band activity with a special release (for the meaning and the feature): the live album 'Hirpi'- Limited to 300 copies. The album consists of four tracks that cover the three Selvans releases plus the live cover of Draugr's 'Furore Pagano' as a tribute to the past. 1 – Lupercale 2 – Hirpi Sorani 3 – O Clitumne! 4 – Furore Pagano (Draugr cover) 5 – Pater Surgens The album has been recorded during two live performances in Pescara: on 23 April 2016, during a special concert in memory of Jonny Morelli - Selvans former singer and drummer - and the 16th December of the same year. SELVANS signed a deal with Avantgarde Music and will release their very first EP entitled "Clangores Plenilunio" in this February. The Italian translation of the Latin expression 'Clangores Plenilunio', hides a meaning linked to the memory of Jonny which is very important to all of us, to what was, and what will be , Selvans Haruspex said.  As fans of many of the label’s releases, we can say that we wore out quite a few of them through repeated listenings, and therefore the fact that Avantgarde’s Roberto Mammarella was interested in working with Selvans  was a great honour for us.   The spirit of Avantgarde is a perfect match for both our music and the concepts we are expressing through it, and knowing that Jonny would have been proud of such a collaboration is by far the greatest satisfaction for us. We can expect something good from this band composed of DRAUGR members, pretty soon!

Selvans Haruspex, also known as Ursus Arctos from DRAUGR band, founded this new project SELVANS together with other former DRAUGR members and have released a first single "Lupercale".
