HISTORY :
Skyforger founded in 1995 after the end of their previous and different metal band Grimndmaster Dead that was founded in 1991. Skyforger lyrics deal with paganism, mythology, ancient Latvian history and so, nothing related with politic. In 2003, the band released pure folk music album "Sword Song", in cooperation with Latvian Culture Capital foundation sponsored by the government.
