Soon will be one new BOISSON DIVINE track
"We are very pleased to announce the release of a new single for Thursday 1 April 2021. It's not in the context of an album (don't overestimate our speed), it's just...like that, no special occasion, absolutely free, no tangible justification.
The song is called "Cent cops dé bastou" (one hundred strokes of the stick), it was composed and written in 1912 by Abbot Jean Taillères, from the diocese of Auch. A totally unknown author from the Armagnac region, who only wrote one collection of poems, "Passejade amourouse" (Love walk). We were lucky enough to get our hands on this rare work. The style is rather bold, even racy for a Church man, but it is nicely written. We may adapt more of it in the future.
Like many old songs, it's quite repetitive, but eventually it gets stuck in your head and becomes addictive. Hopefully it will become a local classic, this abbot deserves it!
Trigger warning : it will sound more traditionnal than metal".
