01. Hi Selvans! Ten years of SELVANS, a project founded right after the previous DRAUGR one… What are your best souvenirs of your beginnings with your own project founded in 2014? Hi, the best thing is having managed to complete the trilogy of albums, evolving the sound and concept behind my music.  I am proud of this. 02. SELVANS, “the Italian Horrorist” you are and into italian folk-horror tales, what do you like the most in it? They are part of my heritage, and the Italian folk-horror underground is still unknown compared to the English one, for example.... The new SELVANS album Saturnalia sees for the first time an orchestra and a choir consisting in 60 elements, each of whom playing side by side with Selvans and his band while lyrics are in Italian. I hope you had good times ending the year 2024. That year marked the comeback of SWORD CHANT, and the birth of the new FORGED IN FOLK FORUM of SWORD CHANT made for the Folk Metal and Trad/Pagan Folk communities that include listeners, and the artists.  The end of Sword Chant Forum was because the flourishing social networks that killed many forums worldwide. I tried the social community groups and still, I think Forum remains the better tool for this website I founded in 2007, better for lyrics translations, and for almost all… Regarding lyrics and when I look to the East, I think it’s even major to get lyrics here and in a way that everyone can understand their content because, its Culture, Musical Culture, National Culture of Countries that shouldn’t be erased when words remain correct and don’t hurt the people.
