HISTORY :
Keith Fay founded Cruachan in 1992 after his previous band Minas Tirith split-up. The Skyclad debut album brough him idea to combine black metal with Irish trad. folk and Cruachan became one of the first Celtic metal band. Karen Gilligan joined the band in 2000 and shared vocals part with Keith Fay for 8 years. She parted with the band in 2008 ans Keith is the main vocalist again since that time as no replacement was announced.
