HISTORY :

At the beginning, the members were in a student band named "Smoker's Corner" covering metal and grunge bands and then, they started to add folk elements and to compose songs and so, Eichenschild was born then. Eichenschild means "Oakenshield". The band founded during 1996 and split-up 10 years later. They played folk rock/folk metal.
