HISTORY :
Dolk founded Kampfar in 1994 and found Thomas. he two musicians, who possessed quite disparate musical backgrounds, soon developed a unique sound that was first presented to the public with the release of the “Kampfar” EP, followed by the full-length album “Mellom Skogkledde Aaser”, released in 1997. Thomas’ Folk influences were in together with the black metal one from Dolk. The other musicians were found later in 2003 and 2011. Thomas parted ways with the band in 2010.
