HISTORY :
The Vallorch idea came up in december 2010 when Marco Munari, Matteo Patuelli & Massimo Benetazzo were attended to a gig together. The band name comes from a Cimbrian village in Italy.

Sara Tacchetto, Leonardo Dalla Via, Francesco Salviato and Andrea ‘Demetrio’ Rampin joined by january 2012 and released their debut EP together but Francesco Salviato parts ways with the band in summer 2012 and Martina Mezzalira joined. Then, the band released their debut album under Moonlight Records.

2014 saw further lineup shifts. Andrea Demetrio Rampin left the band, replaced by Paolo Pesce on accordion, hurdy-gurdy, and keyboards. Meanwhile, vocalist Sara took over tin whistle and bagpipe duties. Founding member Matteo Patuelli also stepped down, making way for guitarist Mattia Buggin to join. They released "Until Our Tale Is Told" album during the next year.

Lyrics of the band are connected with the Asiago and Cansiglio plateaus, home of the Cimbri, a small population of unknown origins speaking a Germanic language.

In 2016, Riccardo Gianni briefly joined the band as a violinist, performing at several major local festivals. However, by 2019, the band was once again at a crossroads. After a series of lineup changes and creative challenges, founding member Marco Munari decided to leave the band. The remaining members—Massimo, Sara, Leo, Mattia, and Marco decides to reinvent themselves as a five-piece band. They released a new single and the next full length set for 2025.
