HISTORY :
Baumbart founded on July 19th, 2010 in Oberhausen, Germany by Marc A. Brode and Julian F. Hagen. They began to cover songs of Alestorm and Ensiferum, and write their own songs beside. At the beginning, Marc wrote stories and concepts for albums and then, the demo "Nýdrogr EPos" was created. Later, after Anton Müller and Nico Fürbach joined the band, it was recorded and published on YouTube. In the meantime Baumbart experimented with a second distortion guitar. Erik Z. first joined and was replaced by Simon Steinborn who also quit 'em so, the second guitar idea was given up. The drummer David "Goldi" finally completes the line-up but leaves the band months later. He was replaced by Severin.
