HISTORY :
The band formed in may 2014 from the ashes of a previous folk metal band. The name of the band is the north italian version of the Changeling, a creature that troll puts in the humans’ houses when they kidnapps the human babies during the night. Their lyrics deal with nature for the main.
The genre of SERVAN is a melodic death metal very folk-oriented, with many influences from all the members of the band. That give the songs epicity but also very rythmic riffs thanks to the well inserted keyboard work. There is also an effective change from growl, to scream to clean voices that turns real the legends told in the lyrics. Also the harsh vocal of the lead guitarist is an elements that gives a coloured contrast when the lead singer is doing scream or clean parts.
During august 2016 drummer Adriano joins the band and during october, Vincenzo, the rythmic guitarist leaves the band, soon replaced by Giulio. Earlier, SERVAN couldn't find a drummer and used backtracks.
