PIMEÄ METSÄ goes on hold

Sad news from PIMEÄ METSÄ... Heres their statement :

THE CURTAIN FALLS :

Brothers and sisters. We have never wanted to write these words, but Pimeä Metsä has sadly ceased it's activities for an undefined period.

We could write a lot about the different reassons that has lead us towards one of the most difficult decisions we have never made, but we don't want to make this farewell even harder than it is for us.

Anyway, we owe you an explanation, so it should to be said that we abandon due to external circumstances. Nothing to do with the band, but some people who were supposed to help us, has really disappointed us.

But that's it!!. Dear fans, now is time to look back and try to give you back at least a small portion of all this support that we have felt from you along these last eleven years. We still remember every single night we've shared with you, from our debut at Silikona to our most important appearance at Leyendas del Rock Festival 2016. We are deeply grateful!!!!. Our brain is still full of all these shared beers, all these talks about vikings, mythology, music or whatever; all your hugs, all your kind words (sometimes as drunk as ours, sometimes more... ;p). We've always felt you close, so close!

Thanks very much also to those who we have never had the opportunity to meet in person, but everyday fill our social networks from every corner of the world with your positive feedback, making us realize that we were working in the right way and showing us that you were enjoying our music more and more.

We cannot forget to mention to the media from the whole world. You have always been so close to us and helped to spread our word. We still remember the first time that our music appeared on a metal radio show. From that moment, we have felt very proud of every review, comment, and appearance on your radios, magazines, webs, blogs, etc. You have always appreciate our work and highly qualified it (mainly our

second álbum NO BLOOD, NO GLORY, which has been considered as one of the top 10 heavy metal albums recorded in 2016). Awesome!!!!!!!!. Thanks a lot. Please keep on working in the same way you do.

Besides, we want to say thank you to our friend Carlo Bellotti from Carlo Bellotti Publishing and Wormholedeath for believing in us. He is one of the most professional people we have ever met. Metal world would be really different if everybody work as he does!.

Last (but not least) we cannot forget to every people from venues, pubs and clubs that has been playing our music every night; to the contributors that helped us to fund our second album; to the incredible bands who we have ever played with; to Alex Cappa, José Garrido and Daniel Melián (te producers of our two releases), and to all this people that has made our dream come true.

Comrades, we're leaving, but we will keep alive whenever you listen to our music, whenever you remember what we have lived together thru these years.
