I interviewed  E-AN-NA who recently released their debut album titled " Nesfârşite ". 01. Welcome E-an-na ! First of all, what is the meaning of the band name ? It literally means « The home of the skies » in ancient summerian. It is a whole new, separate world that we’ve created to escape this one. Every soul is welcome. 02. The band started as a studio project back in 2014 and became a full line-up band ready for shows…. How and when did it happen exactly ? The songs we started putting out at the beginning received more attention & positive feedback than we would’ve ever expected. People started requesting shows a lot, and as a consequence, 2016 was our first busy year. 03. So, E-an-na is one of those bands which started to be famous, thanks to Youtube and internet, right ? "Over the last few months there’s been a huge request for a specific song from our upcoming EP to be released. We have to delay the release of the EP for a few days, but until then, we present, as proud as it gets, „Înşivă”, said E-AN-NA band. Their EP " Jiana " was planned for September 23rd, 2016, delayed to the 30th.

E-AN-NA released in digital their new single "Sârbă Ciobănească". You can buy it on Bandcamp . The song deals with a boy of a shepherd,who, unwilling to do the chores of shepherds anymore, chooses to flee into the mountains and live his life in communion with nature, having only his whistle to express himself.Although archaic, the song is a metaphor for the fact that modern man was born into a world with no options left but to conform and do the duties mankind expects one to do, not the ones he truly loves . 

February 29th will be a new song by E-AN-NA band.  These videos are preview of their forthcoming track entitled "Sârbă Ciobănească" :

"Tinca Popii" is the second track made by E-AN-NA band from Romania.  Tinca Popii is our second single. This instrumental song is a rendition of a romanian traditional folklore tune. We kept it's original name, and tried to adapt it to what we feel it represents. ''Tinca'' is to be translated as a reference to young girls (often daughters, but not necessary). Our concept is that this feminine entity represents nature itself and all the beauty surrounding us, not giving up yet to the claws of mankind and it's wretched way of stealing the beauty of the world. It's a song about the joy of being alive and enjoying the miracle of life itself in all it's forms.  The song is available for 1€ on bandcamp .
