The song is taken from their upcoming album "Fides Celtiberia".
Daniel López, bass player of the Cuban band stated to Sword Chant : "The album 'Fides Celtiberia' will be the third of the band. This album will be entirely dedicated and inspired by the history of Spain, a nation from which a large part of the Cuban population are descendants. We honor its legacy by narrating legends, great battles and historical moments that marked the Iberian Peninsula.
The single Laus Spaniae is a part of the whole. Based on a medieval poem written by Isidoro de Sevilla, the members of Helgrind set out to set it to music with the help of two good friends of the band such as Katia Fernández on female vocals and JC Ymir from the Canadian black metal pagan band Burden of Ymir in the supports of the guttural voices and the accordion. Hopefully you will enjoy it"
