Sword Chant 2023

 Hi Folks,

First of all, I want to express my best wishes to you listeners, bands, promoters, labels, sound engineers, designers and everyone for the new year.

Last year, the website came back and I made many updates to get it ready for the following year as you know with my dev diaries online ; and as admin, I am rather happy things went as planned. 😊

What does Sword Chant mean in 2023 ?

  • Sword Chant will bring you news of the Folk Metal world including Pagan Metal, Pagan and Traditional Folk, Celtic and Medieval Music
  • Sword Chant wants to lead you to new music, and bands we love to glory
  • With Sword Chant and with Eld, I will take care of these bands and make sure their projects keep progressing for they bring you some nice things
  • Bands can share their Lyrics on Sword Chant together with Translations for listeners to sing along and understand their lyrics, and you can translate them to your mother tongue
  • The Forged in Folk community group on facebook was born for you to discuss music and for your unofficial lyrics translations
  • If they like, Bands can share sheet music and tablature on Sword Chant for you playing an instrument to learn and enjoy their music even more, and for band's banner to keep waving in the air
  • No matter where you live, you can plan to go to upcoming shows looking at the new On Stage page and Bands and promoters can send an email with tourdates and upcoming festivals to complete that page.
  • Sword Chant would be happy to partner with events for one stronger support
  • Sword Chant would be happy to share Bands' crowdfunding projects, and classified ads to fill the holes in their line-up when is needed
  • New reviews will be on Sword Chant, you may expect long reading to know how the reviewed record sound
  • Interviews also come back, especially since I like it 😀

Enjoy Sword Chant, the Forged in Folk group but above all

HAPPY NEW YEAR !
